Try it with the sample proposals
Updated July 11, 2026
Before you drop a real client's quote into ProClose, it helps to see the whole app work end to end. The New proposal page has two sample buttons that do exactly that, no real document required.
#The two sample buttons
- Sample: new business, built for a fictional client, Northgate Holdings LLC.
- Sample: renewal with comparison, built for a fictional client, Riverbend Storage LLC.
Both live directly on the New proposal page, next to the drop zone. A hint above them reads Tip: load a sample to see the whole flow., which changes to Ready. Click "Build proposal". once a sample is loaded.
#What each demonstrates
Sample: new business loads a straightforward new-business deck for Northgate Holdings LLC. It also simulates a call pull and a client lookup for demo flavor, both the Pull the call and Find the client cards flip on with sample status text, so you can see what those look like filled in.
Sample: renewal with comparison loads a renewal for Riverbend Storage LLC, seeded with both a carrier quote and a current policy, so the built deck includes the side-by-side comparison slide. It is the fastest way to see that slide without sourcing two real PDFs for the same risk.
#Samples still walk through the options step
Clicking either sample button does not skip anything. You still land on the options step, Your vault weighed in. Anything else?, with a market check and recommended coverage checkboxes exactly as you would see on a real quote. Confirm with Looks good, build the deck. and the seeded deck opens in the presenter view, ready to explore: edit slides, present, export, save it to your Proposals list.
Because a sample is seeded data rather than a parsed document, the deck comes together instantly. A real quote PDF runs through the actual parser first, which is where the real value of the app shows up.
