Call intelligence overview

Updated July 11, 2026

Before a carrier quote ever lands, you already had a conversation with the prospect. Call intelligence turns that conversation into something the deck can use, whether or not a quote exists yet.

#What it does, in order

  1. You pick a recorded sales call from the Pull the call card on the New proposal page.
  2. ProClose transcribes the call and runs a structured analysis over the transcript, pulling out the prospect's name, a summary, lines of business, current carrier, coverage needs, objections, sentiment, next step, and a few key quotes.
  3. Those insights go one of two places, depending on what else is on the page when you click Build proposal:
    • If a carrier quote PDF is also loaded, the insights become the What we heard slide inside a fully priced proposal.
    • If no quote is loaded, the insights become a standalone discovery brief, an honest, unpriced deck built entirely from the call.

That is the whole shape of it. One pull, one analysis, two possible destinations.

#Where each piece is covered

#The RingCentral connection

The Pull the call card's subtext reads RingCentral, transcript via Fireflies. That connection is configured once, server-side, by whoever runs your ProClose install: a RingCentral client ID, secret, and server URL, entered as environment configuration on your own server. You never enter RingCentral credentials anywhere in the app itself.

As a producer, none of that setup is your job. You open Pick a recent call, you see a list of recent recorded calls pulled live from RingCentral, and you click one. If the connection has not been configured yet, the picker has nothing to show you, and that is a setup question for your admin, not something to fix from the picker.
